Well, partly because their candidate lost, but primarily because they really thought Mitt Romney would win. They expected a win because polls from Republican sources lied to them.

We can now compare Republican pollsters predictions to the actual election results and see that they were either lying or are grossly incompetent. This is in contrast to some non-Republican pollsters who were dead-on accurate.

FOX News (see video clip below), Unskewed Polls who’s slug line reads “erasing the bias to show an accurate picture of politics,” and most other Republican pollsters predicted a convincing victory for Romney, they were wrong. Romney was never even close to winning. Non-Republican pollsters: Nate Silver of the New York Times, Sam Wang of Princeton, and Drew Linzer of Emory University were correct in predicting all or almost every state.

I think this comment from the article “30 Reasons Republicans Lost The Election” in the far right leaning blog Red State says it best:

GremlinJones (comment above) allowed himself to be lied to by the Republican media machine, at least he realizes he was made a fool of and is going to look elsewhere for accurate information. Good for him.

Check out this hilarious clip from the Daily Show of several FOX News pundits predicting a Romney landslide victory.

Lying is what the Republican media does, learn from the evidence that is right in front of your face. Stop embarrassing yourselves.

UPDATE:
You can’t say it much clearer that this, Republicans David Frum and Joe Scarborough tell it like it is.

Walking may possibly save your life

Walking may possibly save your life:

Almost all discussions about climate change...

UPDATED: 9/15/2012

Almost all discussions about climate change or global warming take place between people who know nothing about the actual facts. Their opinions are dictated by their politics and nothing else.

Since I don’t really know the scientific data and neither do most deniers why don’t we look at those who actually need to know the facts and look at the issue without emotion or political ties.

The following corporate leaders, governments, scientific organizations, and religious organizations believe global warming is real and caused by man.

People:
Bill Gates (Microsoft)
Lee Scott (Wal-Mart)
James Smith (Chairman, Shell Oil)
John Hofmeister (President, Shell Oil)
Charles Holliday Jr. (CEO, DuPont)

Over 12,000 Scientists listed by name (Includes 52 Nobel Laureates and 63 National Medal of Science recipients): (http://go.ucsusa.org/RSI_list/index.php?scientistsPage=474)

State packs:
Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact
Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe & Palm Beach Counties—Florida

If we are to believe that global warming is a hoax then we must believe that all world and corporate leaders, listed above, have been hoodwinked by some vast scientific conspiracy.

We would also have to believe that 97% of the worlds climate scientists are con men who have hatched some worldwide scheme to send us into a global panic - so they don’t lose their jobs.
